Booking Conditions


  1. The Old Coach House sleeps a maximum of 4 people.  A travel cot and high chair for a baby are available on request.
  2. Holiday dates are usually from Saturday to Saturday, arrival time is from 3pm. Departure by 10am at the end of the holiday.  
  3. Short breaks are available all year round.  Minimum night stay is 3 nights.
  4. A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of £100 is payable at the time of booking in order to secure your dates. 
  5. Confirmation of the booking will be sent by email.
  6. The balance payment is due one calendar month before the arrival date.
  7. Payment may be made by card, bank transfer or cheque. All prices quoted are in GBP sterling. Any currency exchange charges are to be paid by the customer.
  8. A good housekeeping bond of £125 will be levied at the time of booking, this will be returned the day after departure providing no deliberate damage to the property has occurred.
  9. The prices quoted include all gas/electricity, towels and bedlinen.
  10. Holiday insurance is the responsibility of the customer.
  11. No refund will be given once full payment has been made, unless the owners are able to re-let the dates. In which case a full refund will be given, minus the non-refundable deposit,  Please note that every effort will be made to re-let the stay, but this may not always be possible so we strongly advise guests to arrange their own holiday insurance cover in case of unforeseen circumstances which prevent them from taking their holiday.
  12. Smoking / vaping is not permitted inside the cottage.
  13. a) Sorry, we regret that no pets (except assistance dogs) are allowed at the property.
    b) Assistance dogs must not be left unattended in the cottage at any time and are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture.
  14. We regret that at present we are unable to facilitate the charging of electrical vehicles at the property. Directions are provided for the nearest charging points in the local area.
  15. The owners accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury caused to any person or property however caused.
  16. If the owners need to cancel the booking, a full refund will be paid immediately. Cancellation will only happen under the most extreme circumstances beyond the owner's control. In the unlikely event of cancellation the customer will be informed as soon as possible.
  17. Any damage or breakages must be reported to the owner as soon as possible.
  18. The cottage must be left in a tidy manner upon departure.
