While you’re enjoying your stay – exploring the local area, unwinding after a day outdoors, or simply switching off – your car can be recharging too.
We’ve officially partnered with voltshare to provide a pay-as-you-go smart EV charging point for our guests. We’re proud to offer this added convenience as we've noticed more guests have been arriving by electric vehicles, so installing on-site charging felt like a natural step.
It adds real convenience, removes range anxiety, and supports our ongoing commitment to more sustainable travel since all our electricity comes from renewable sources.
Our charging point is for the exclusive use of our guests and is compatible with all modern electric vehicles.

As part of voltshare’s wider commitment to sustainability, they have also recaptured an estimated 2,000–3,000 kg of CO₂ for each charging point installed.
At the time of writing (January 2026), our charging rate is £0.60 per kWh.
Please note:
We currently do not have access to cheaper off-peak tariffs
Charging rates may vary without notice, depending on electricity costs
This rate includes VAT, which is charged on all commercially operated charge sites
Unlike large commercial operators, we are not VAT registered and therefore cannot offset this cost. A small additional uplift is included to cover voltshare's service fees and contribute towards the capital investment involved in installing the charging point.
Our EV charger is situated on the exterior wall of the Games Barn, yet inside the gated driveway of The Old Coach House, offering a secure and easy-to-access charging location for guests.
